Jean Gamble was on fire, reminding us that we are all already everything we need to be and there is no self-improvement or “getting better” needed. Jean offered the analogy of the acorn and the oak tree, and invited us to deeply consider the fact that each of us already has a kernel, deep within, that is pure and divine – and that this is our True Self. It’s a path of return to living the harmony, joy and playfulness that we already are.
This group did not hold back and it was liberating to expose those shameful fears and anxieties that we normally keep hidden – and to find that we all share them! Everyone knows that they could be living a more magnificent, meaningful, joyful and richer existence and we looked at what it is that holds us back. Why do so many of us lack confidence? Why are so many people anxious, rushed, trapped in busyness and tense?
With her inimitable humour, clarity and wisdom, Jean brought together her wealth of experience as a clinical psychotherapist with the quality she lives as a student of the Ageless Wisdom and the Livingness. She met the group where they were at, fielding questions from all corners and delivered straightforward insights into anxiousness.
the True Self, in all of its beauty and strength.
Life as our greatest Medicine.
This is our True Self, and it is this essence that we can trust when we live its way.
